In May 2014 Westgate Oxford Alliance held a public exhibition to consult local people on the emerging detailed designs (Reserved Matters) for the new Westgate.
The proposed detailed designs received strong support from local people with two thirds of those who took part saying they thought the designs of the proposed buildings sat well within Oxford’s historic cityscape, while 70% thought Oxford City Centre would benefit from the proposed development.
Westgate Oxford Alliance has taken on board the feedback received in relation to the comments provided on landscaping, materials, the taller feature element on Building 4 and what attendees would like to see the development bring to Oxford City Centre.
In advance of the submission of a reserved matters application in August 2014 the drop-in sessions will provide an opportunity for attendees to see how the designs have been refined. For details of the drop-in sessions please click here. The updated designs will be available to view on the website from 17th July.
